Flight itinerary

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

When preparing your flight you can print a flight itinerary with flight data from Flightnet.

Please note that a standard version of Adobe Acrobat is very helpful to design PDF forms. Usually, also an older edition will do. Such older version often are available on Amazon or Ebay.

How it works

1.You design a flight itinerary form as a PDF document with form fields and upload it to Flightnet
2.On preflight, the user opens a link that contains the PDF document filled with reservation data (start and end, registration, aircraft type, pilot, flight instructor, license expiration dates etc.
3.The user can manually modify the form and finally print it

You can use multiple versions of such form templates, e.g. a versions for rental, taxi or instruction flights. The template has to be assigned to the type of flight.

How to implement it

1.Design a flight itinerary as PDF form (see this PDF instruction file).
There usually already is an example PDF form named "template.pdf" in the document templates.
2.Navigate to "Company / club" > "Document templates" and upload the PDF form
3.Test the template with the corresponding link
4.Navigate to "Aircraft" > "Types of flight"
5.Assign the forms to the corresponding types of flight
6.Navigate to "Company / club" > "Settings" [Reservations] and enable "Use flight itinerary"

How to use it

1.Load a reservation
2.Click on "Load flight itinerary"
