August 2010 (Release 2.1): Duty roster, menu reorganization
- We included a duty roster to manage staff availability, particularly flight instructors and pilots. The duty roster is checked in the reservation process.
- Some functions like "new reservation" or "maintenance reservations" have been moved to the menu (and no longer below the calendar in reservations - manage as before)

July 2010 (Release 2.0.6): Charts, reservation change history
- Bar and pie diagrams with distributions of types of flight or login time etc.
- View of reservation change history (see all changes effected on a particular reservation)

June 2010 (Release 2.0.5): Aircraft location, type rating requirement and settings - You can set the aircraft location if different from home airport
- Type rating requirement can be set individually per aircraft type (e.g. exclude simulator and other resources)
- Option allowing users to edit their own licence and type ratings (to reduce administrative effort)
- Option to limit start and end time to be within hours of operation

April 2010 (Release 2.0.4): Reservation duplicate button, email address export
- Button to duplicate a reservation (for reuse of content)
- Export of all user email addresses that were changed within a date range
- Improved workflow to add a new user

March 2010 (Release 2.0.3): Aircraft warning message, reports
- You can add a warning message to a particular aircraft (like GPS u/s etc.). A warning icon will be shown.
- Additional reports included (SMS statistic, last user login)

February February 2010 (Release 2.0.2): PDF of daily schedule, reservations per pilot, export of modified data and print a PDF of the daily schedule (see PDF icon on overview)
- An updated version of reservations per pilot was integrated - Data export of adress and other contact that was modified in a selected date range

- After one year of development Flightnet Version 2 has been introduced on January 27th 2010.

- During the last 12 months, we completely rebuilt Flightnet in a new, very powerful technology and put a contemporary visual design on top of it.
  The migration to Flightnet 2 will take place on Wednesday, January 27th 2010 at 20:00 CET . The new system will be ready on January 28th, 07:00 CET at the latest.

November 2009: Translation to Italian, minor changes - Flightnet has been completely translated to Italian (including manual, thanks to Luca Salvadori)

April 2009: Flight itinerary, pilot categories, Google Chrome and Safari support
- Print flight itineraries (PDF) directly from reservations. The forms can be custom-made and are filled out by Flightnet

March 2009: New overview design
- The design of the reservation overview was totally revised (for IE, Firefox and Opera browers) with individual holiday and opening times indication
- Visibility of flight instructor overview can be limited to certain privileges
- Important note: WAP access is to be discontinued soon due to very poor usage but high maintenance costs

January 2009: Reservation modifications
- Aircraft, pilot or  instructor can now be changed on existing reservations (permission level "office" and above)
- Optional separate indication of airport closure on holidays
- All aircraft are visible to office users (and above), regardless of personal ratings

November 2008: Refresher course requirement, printable monthly overviews  (PDF)
- Refresher course per aircraft type and pilot can be entered and required for reservation
- Printable monthly overview (as a PDF) of all reservations per aircraft or per pilot/instructor (as a Gantt Diagram)

June 2008: Separate scheduling of flight instructors; Pilots included in overview, new reservation rules

Flight instructors can now be booked separately (without aircraft) for theory lessons
- The schedule of any pilots (e.g. flight instructors, FOM-pilots) can now be included in the overview to check their availability
- New rule: pilot can not schedule more than one aircraft for the same time

May 2008: Changes regarding check flight rules
- To prevent differences between check flight and JAR proficiency rule enforcement, the way the dates are entered was changed. Now, always the expiration is entered (and not the date of the check flight as before)


April 2008: Secure access using SSL encryption
- You may now access the system with 128bit SSL encryption by using the URL https://www.nexonhost.net/flightnet/net/ (please note it's https), permitting a safe communication with Flightnet.


February 2008: JAR-FCL proficiency and medical requirements, reminder emails and outlook synchronization
- Medical certificate validity, JAR FCL proficiency checkflights and language proficiency validity can be entered
- Limit reservations to dates when certificates and checks are valid
- Weekly reminder emails before expiration (medical, checkflights and language proficiency)
- Automatic synchronization with calendar in Microsoft Outlook
- Manage charter agreements and optional valid agreement requirement for reservations

November 2006: Email and SMS sent when a reservation is changed
- If start and/or end of a reservation are changed, an email and/or SMS are sent

September 2006: Concurrent flight instructor booking, ical Calendar download
- Same flight instructor can be booked for several students at the same time (optionally, depending on settings)
- Personal reservations can be downloaded as Ical items for import to PDA, ICalendar or Outlook

- Flight data of deleted users or aircrafts remains in the system for statistical evaluations

March 2004: Variable opening hours, cancellation reasons
- Enter airport opening hours. Reservations can be viewed within these limits or 24h
- Opening hours can be defined Mon-Fri, Sat, Sun
- Customizable opening hours on holidays (Christmas, Whitsuntide etc.)
- Even faster reservation data presentation due to application redesign
- Users now are requested to enter the reason if they cancel a reservation
- SMS transmission can be limited to notifications of reservations changes

January 2004: Improved reservation overview
- Standby reservations are now shown in the overview (thin line)
- The overview page is automatically refreshed every few minutes (no need for manual reload)

December 2003: No reservation limits for flight instructors
- Flight instructors are now permitted unlimited reservations, especially to schedule flight lessons

November 2003: Modify reservation time, enhanced overview, backup emails
- The reservation start and end can now be modified within usual limits
- The reqistration name is now locked when horizontally scrolling the overview
- Authorized users can reveice daily emails with the current schedule for the next 7 days

- New reservation time entry (now with option list for the time)

October 2003: Checkflights can be enforced
- Checkflight option; pilots without current checkflight cannot reserve aircraft
- View the schedule overview for the next two days from external website (e.g. your club/company)
- Redesigned for better usability with smaller screen resolutions (we had to remove some design elements - that's the price for better adaption to smaller screens)

August 2003: "No show" if pilot does not use a reserved aircraft
- If aircraft is reserved but not used, reservation can be marked as "No show"
- List all "No show" reservations
- Compact statistic of reservations, cancellations, "no show" and reservation durations

- New chronological list of reservations

July 2003: Important changes for flight instructors
- Flight instructors with "Standard" permissions can now manage all flights where they act as instructor
- The font size in the standby list was increased to improve readability
- The color scheme was adapted (now full white background) for an optimal contrast
- The WAP access was modified, as some users reported problems

May 2003: New, extended version of FLIGHTNET.AERO
- New instruction manual (german)

- Maintenance reservations: permits to automatically cancel affected reservations
